Before the Pause

 So I guess I can't get into Life After the Pause until I tell you bit about life before.  In a nutshell, it was normal.  Happily married, two amazing kids, surrounded by family and an amazing circle of friends, great job...literally everything I ever dreamed of (well minus the dog cause hubby was having none of that!).

We were basically living our best life, and looking forward to everything the future had to offer.  Universe had other plans...
